VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, August 1, 2002 – The new Vida Wellness Spa, Vancouver Wall Centre, will open on August 20, 2002 with a unique spa experience that takes a holistic approach to help balance the body, mind, and spirit.

Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, the new $1.6 million spa facility will offer a first class spa experience complemented by a unique menu of services and spa products to create an environment of health and healing. The 4,000 square foot spa facility offering12 treatment rooms, was designed by award-winning BBA Designs who worked to create a warm and nurturing environment using natural elements throughout.

The philosophy of Vida Wellness Spas is strongly rooted on the delicate balance of inner calm, outer vitality, sensory pleasure, and spiritual health. A holistic approach that blends the ancient Indian principles of Ayurveda together with modern practices ensures that each guest will receive a personalized treatment that meets their individual needs.

Exotic Kona Coffee Vichy
The Kona Coffee Vichy stimulates and detoxifies the body using a powerful combination of ingredients from around the world. Dark roasted coffee, vanilla beans, and raw island turindo sugar are combined with a tangy orange cream for a refreshing exfoliation, followed by a gentle rinse and vanilla massage.
Vida Couples' Massage and Soak
Couples can relax side-by-side with the Vida Couples' Massage and Soak. The session begins with an invigorating aromatherapy exfoliation to increase circulation to tired muscles, followed by a soak in a multi-jet hydrotherapy tub. Intensive aromatherapy oils added to the bath enhance the water's natural healing effects. A choice of Classic or Shiatsu Massage completes the treatment.
