Frankincense and Mandarin Immune Booster

When we see leaves begin to change colour we all know winter is just around the corner. We have started to put away our summer gear and are in search of layers and more layers to keep us warm this winter. We have all promised ourselves to stay healthy this winter season. Vida Wellness Spas is pleased to introduce its new: Frankincense and Mandarin Immune Booster.

Vida will now be offering the Frankincense and Mandarin Immune Booster at all 3 locations (Sutton Place, Wall Centre and Fairmont Chateau Hotels). The experience begins with a warm cup of cranberry spice tea in Vida’s relaxation lounge to purify and warm your system while your mind begins to unwind. Once settled in your treatment room, a warm frankincense and mandarin sugar mixture will be gently massaged over your entire body.  Following a warm shower, achieve further relaxation with a one-hour Swedish massage using warmed frankincense and mandarin oil.

Most essential oils have antibacterial qualities and varying physical and emotional effects depending on the oil such as stimulation, relaxation, pain relief and healing. The anti-oxidizing, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects of frankincense which has a woody, spicy and slightly fruity smell strengthens the immune system, assists the fight against flu and cold-like symptoms. Frankincense has also found to have benefits for the reduction of scars and stretch marks. Mandarin oil can be soothing to the nervous system hence it will aid in the relaxation process. It is an essential oil that can help the digestive system, help with reducing fluid retention, soothing to the nervous system and may also help with stretch marks.
